Clash of Clans leak reveals “overpowered” new Barbarian King equipment

Clash of Clans leak reveals "overpowered" new Barbarian King equipment 1

The leaked footage of what could be an upcoming Barbarian King equipment has received negative reviews from Clash of Clans players.

Since Supercell’s announcement that they’re planning to introduce a new Clash of Clans Hero Equipment every month, many players were eager to know what other abilities could be in store for their beloved heroes.

While the plan to release a new item for each monthly event has been put on hold, it still means that developers have a lot of Hero Equipment in development or are currently locked in their secret plans for future release. However, some sneaky CoC players have found footage of one of these unreleased equipment.

The unnamed Barbarian King item has an ability similar to the Royal Champion’s Seeking Shield, but it is different in shape and targeting mechanics.

Based on the short clip, the activated ability hurls a ball-shaped object from the Barbarian King and ricochets to nearby towers. However, unlike the Royal Champions’ common item, this ability does not seem to target defensive towers specifically.

Despite its promising premise, many Clash of Clans players do not favor this leaked item; some hope it’s fake. Aside from being almost an exact copy of an item already in the game, some players call it “overpowered” and may throw the meta of the Barbarian King off balance.

While the equipment itself may not be the issue, the current equipment pool of Barbarian King already proves the hero to be a vital force on the battlefield. Some players note that equipment combinations with the tank hero may be too powerful for the game.

A Clash of Clans player commented that the item may not be fake but may not be in the game for long. The comment hints that the leaked equipment is part of an upcoming FIFA-themed event.

Currently, there are no confirmed announcements or trustworthy leaks regarding the next Hero Equipment. The current event also focuses on giving players Ores for equipment upgrades instead of a new item.
