Apex Legends Season 5: Fortune’s Favor new Loba character trailer released

Respawn Entertainment has launched a new trailer for Apex Legends Season 5 – Fortune’s Favor. The character trailer highlights the new Legend, Loba’s skills in competition. Apex Legends Season 5 – Fortune’s Favor releases May 12, 2020 to the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.

Loba has a vendetta against the immortal Revenant, who are responsible for her family’s untimely death. After witnessing the murder of her parents as a child, Loba Andrade became the Outlands’ most dangerous thief by night and lived the life of a high society socialite by day. Her teleportation skill lets her get a jump on foes, and Loba’s passive ability allows her to scope out any loot. Squadmates can make use of Loba’s ultimate ability, the Black Market, to collect the best loot in the area.

Loba’s journey to exact revenge against Revenant’s evil ways will reveal secrets and set off a chain of events that will change the map of King’s Canyon. Her entrance has a ripple effect on the arena, shaking up drop-in locations, such as Skull Town, and how competitors choose to navigate their next defensive hold or strike. 

Apex Legends Season 5 – Fortune’s Favor will feature a brand new game mode. Quests will allow players who want treasure, glory, and more story to participate in a nine-week series of PvE quests. The new Battle Pass will include more than 100 exclusive items such as Legendary skins, Apex Packs, and new Battle Pass content. Players can expect the season split with Ranked Leagues Series 4 kicking off in Kings Canyon before the return to World’s Edge in June. Ranked Leagues Series 4 will also introduce the ability to reconnect. Players who are disconnected due to internet weather, a crash in the game, or a quick brownout, can now restart and reload back into the session.

Apex Legends is a free-to-play battle royale game available on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. In Apex Legends, up to 20 three-person squads or two-person duos land on an island where they must search for supplies and weapons that will help them eliminate their competition. Players must avoid being caught outside of the designated play area and make themselves moving targets. The last team standing wins the round.
