In AFK Journey, the Stargaze Station is a pivotal feature for recruiting some of the most coveted heroes in the game, particularly from the Hypogean and Celestial factions.

This guide provides comprehensive insights into unlocking the Stargaze Station, maximizing your rewards, and prioritizing the best characters to enhance your gameplay experience in the magical world of Esperia.

Unlike standard recruitments, the Stargaze Station offers tailored pulls for the Celestial and Hypogean heroes. It uses a special currency called Stellar Crystal to pull in the banner.

You can select your desired Celestial or Hypogean hero. That will be the only hero you can get in the banner, while the others are items. The selected hero is guaranteed at 40 pulls, but you can get the selected character early, which will reset the counter.

How to Unlock Stargaze Station

To access the Stargaze Station, you must complete 400 recruitments across other Noble Tavern banners (All-Hero, Epic, and Rate Up). This recruitment count accumulates over time and is permanent, so there is no rush to do 40 pulls at once.

How to Get Stellar Crystals

Stellar Crystals are the currency needed for Stargaze Station pulls. They can be acquired through several methods:

• Purchase up to six Stellar Crystals per month from the Guild Store for 400 diamonds each.
• Buy Stellar Crystals from the Recruitment Store using Dolly Tickets. The store resets every month.
  • You can purchase the first two discounted Stellar Crystals for 310 Dolly Tickets.
  • Three more Stellar Crystals in the Recruitment Store for 620 Dolly Tickets.
• You can also have a chance to obtain one Stellar Crystal through Guild Chests by selecting the Hero Recruitment Resource option.
• If you are a spender, you can also get the Stargaze Station Bundle, which includes 20 Stellar Crystals and additional resources.

Stargaze Station Best Characters to Prioritize

When engaging with the Stargaze Station, here are the best characters to prioritize in order and why:

1. Reinier (Support) – Currently the best character in the game, Reinier is known for his impactful debuffing skills in boss fights. Prioritizing Reinier is the best move, as he increases the damage taken by enemies when upgraded to Mythic+. This makes him a powerhouse in boss confrontations and a valuable asset in any lineup. I recommend going for at least one copy of Reinier before changing if in case you wanted to get other heroes.
2. Scarlita (Warrior) – Scarlita is ranked next for her ability to control and manipulate the battlefield. Her ultimate skill, Divine Quake, deals significant damage and disrupts enemy formations by knocking them back and stunning them. This can turn the tide in PvP matches and difficult AFK stages by breaking enemy lines and reducing their effectiveness.
3. Dionel (Marksman) – Dionel should be your next priority because of his versatility and high damage output. His skills allow him to soar into the air, becoming untargetable while dealing widespread damage to enemy clusters. This makes him particularly effective in both clearing enemy waves during AFK stages and providing substantial DPS in boss encounters.
4. Berial (Rogue) – Last priority, Berial is essential for his unique stealth and disruption tactics. His skills allow him to deal continuous damage while invincible, and his ability to revive upon defeating an enemy during his shadow phase adds a crucial survival element to his role. Berial’s capabilities make him particularly useful in PvP and challenging stages where his skills can disrupt enemy strategies and prolong his presence on the field.

These heroes, exclusive to the Stargaze Station, offer unique advantages not available in other recruitment banners. Still, players can exchange these heroes in the Guild Store.

Stargaze Station Tips

Here are some tips I recommend before pulling in the Stargaze Station:

• Get all the discounted Stellar Crystals in the Emporium to ensure you get the best value for resources.
• Keep an eye on game events that offer enhanced pull rates or additional resources for the Stargaze Station. Participating actively can significantly boost your resource pool.
• Prioritize recruiting heroes based on their strategic value and potential impact on your current lineup. Choose heroes that fill gaps in your team’s capabilities or enhance your existing strategies.
• Understand that accumulating enough resources to guarantee an S-Level hero will take time as an F2P player. Plan your resource expenditure wisely, particularly when it comes to spending Diamonds, and prepare for a long-term investment.
• Recognize that the Stargaze Station is a high-risk, high-reward feature. Pulling from this banner is more expensive than others, so weighing the potential benefits against the costs is important.

I believe pulling in the Stargaze Station, even as an F2P, is worth trying since you can get powerful heroes and other valuable resources. As a F2P myself, I am currently saving pulls to get copies of Reinier since his true potential comes out at Mythic+, but go for heroes that you need on your lineup.
