SS Tier Characters

Silverfang

Known for solid damage, Silverfang offers a balance between power and agility. Silverfang is a formidable character suitable for players looking for a strong, balanced fighter. He also has the ability to heal.

Atomic Samurai

Atomic Samurai stands out for his ability to inflict marked status on enemies with his potent strikes. This characteristic renders him an outstanding selection for players in search of a character who can deliver considerable damage to opponents.

Zombieman

Zombieman is a flexible character that has versatile combat styles. He transitions between axe and gun modes, making him a formidable foe with increasing damage output as his health drops and allowing for strategic health regeneration. His balance between range and melee, alongside critical damage potential, places him at the list’s pinnacle.

S Tier Characters

Genos

Genos stands out with high damage output and ranged attacks, complemented by a self-destruct ultimate for significant burst damage. He is exceptionally versatile, excelling in both solo and team play, making him a balanced choice for various situations.

Speed-o’-Sound Sonic – Prisoner

This version of Sonic is appreciated for its unique playstyle involving shadows, requiring players to master his abilities for maximum effectiveness. His speed and dodging capabilities make him an exciting choice for those who enjoy a fast, evasive approach.

King

King stands as a top-tier character in the game. Surprisingly, targeting King is a wise strategy for those keen on enhancing their gameplay. His formidable power stems from his capacity to repel any energy-based assaults. King’s fortune renders him resistant to energy attacks. Equipping your squad with King grants you near invincibility, save for a specific type of attack.

Metal Knight

Due to his excellent damage output, Metal Knight is one of the game’s top nukers. His ability to deal immense damage is offset by his slower speed, positioning him as a powerhouse with a need for careful timing.

Hellish Blizzard

The newest addition to the character roster, Hellish Blizzard, is currently featured on the limited banner. While she requires timing and potentially multiple duplicates to unlock her full potential, her counterattack capabilities make her a strong contender, especially in PvP scenarios.

A Tier Characters

Genos – Arms Mode

With a playstyle that is perfect for those who enjoy versatility, Genos in his Armored Mode combines range and power effectively. His special attacks render him untouchable at times, making him a strategic choice for players who value both offense and defense.

Genos – Cyborg of Justice

Potentially good with specific strengths in both close and long-range combat, indicating versatility. Genos Cyborg of Justice deals high damage when he uses energy charges.

Speed-o’-Sound Sonic

This version of Sonic is appreciated for its unique playstyle involving shadows, requiring players to master his abilities for maximum effectiveness. His speed and dodging capabilities make him an exciting choice for those who enjoy a fast, evasive approach.

Puri-Puri Prisoner

Puri-Puri Prisoner is a versatile character who could be quite useful in the early game, appealing to players looking for a strong starter character. He can be a tank, as he has lots of HP and the ability to heal himself.

Saitama – Dream World

Saitama’s rapid attacks allow him to decimate opponents swiftly. His unique playstyle caters to players who favor aggressive, high-damage strategies. Exhibiting unparalleled strength and one-shot potential.

Saitama – Job Hunting

Saitama – Job Hunting is a melee unit that performs well in specific situations. He can counterattack after defending and heal himself. He also gains Rage, which buffs his normal attacks.

Mumen Rider

Mumen Rider acts as a tank for the team alongside team buffs that he provides. Because of his high defensive capabilities, he is able to soak up damage for the team.

Stinger

Stinger stands out for his attack prowess. Even as an SR character, Stinger can dish out significant damage, making him a valuable asset for taking down enemies quickly. Stinger is outshined by SSR units but a decent pick up as an SR.

B Tier Characters

Lightning Max

Positioned as an average choice, Lightning Max might not stand out in terms of power or utility. He is suitable for players looking for a character with standard capabilities.

Golden Ball

Golden Ball is a long-range attacker, Golden Ball could be a good pick for players who prefer to engage enemies from a distance, offering a strategic advantage in battles requiring range.

Iairon

Iairon is notable for his robustness and utility in battles. As a blue character, he typically excels in defense and support roles, providing a sturdy backbone for your team. For teams lacking in defense, Iairon can absorb damage and sustain longer fights, making him an excellent choice for challenging content where durability is key.

Smile Man

Smile Man employs a ken for his assaults and launches the ball as part of his attack strategy. Both the ken and the ball inflict damage on enemies. When the ball reaches its maximum distance, it returns to Smile Man, damaging enemies once more on its way back.

Triple Staff Lily

Triple Staff Lily ranks prominently in the B tier for her dynamic playstyle and versatility in combat. Her inclusion in this tier is a testament to her utility and effectiveness across various gameplay scenarios.

C Tier Characters

Spring Mustachio

Spring Mustachio is a character that offers a good mix of attack and support capabilities. While not as strong as SSR characters, his balanced stats can fill gaps in your lineup effectively but not the best pick to choose so choose other characters at a higher tier.

Biting Fist Snek

Positioned at the lower end of the tier list, Biting Fist Snek is more of a novelty choice. It has specific conditions aimed at the gameplay mechanics or overall impact in battle.

The tier list for One Punch Man: World serves as a starting point for character selection. However, the best character for you is one that matches your preferred playstyle and brings you the most enjoyment in the game.

Experiment with different characters, learn their strengths and weaknesses, and choose the one that feels right for you. Remember, mastery of a character and personal enjoyment far outweigh the perceived tier ranking in the long run.
