Genshin Impact 4.6 New Artifacts

In the version 4.6 livestream, Genshin Impact introduced two new artifact sets: Fragment of Harmonic Whimsy and Unfinished Reverie. Artifacts play a crucial role in character optimization and combat effectiveness, so check out these new artifacts to see if they are perfect for your current characters!

Fragment of Harmonic Whimsy

The Fragment of Harmonic Whimsy set is tailored for characters who benefit from dynamic playstyles. The artifacts focus on the Bond of Life mechanic, which relates to how specific characters’ abilities interact with HP thresholds or changes.

2 Piece Bonus: ATK +18%
4 Piece Bonus: When the value of a Bond of Life increases or decreases, this character deals 18% increased DMG for 6s. Max 3 stacks.

This set is perfect for Arlecchino as she can take advantage of the damage buff because she has the Bond of Life mechanic in her kit.

Unfinished Reverie

The Unfinished Reverie set is for characters that toggle between active and support roles. You cast a skill and then opt to swap the character, as this artifact will still be active even when switching characters.

2 Piece Bonus: ATK +18%
4 Piece Bonus: After leaving combat for 3s, DMG dealt increases by 50%. In combat, if no Burning opponents are nearby for more than 6s, this DMG Bonus will decrease by 10% per second until it reaches 0%. When a Burning opponent exists, it will increase by 10% instead until it reaches 50%. This effect still triggers if the equipping character is off-field.

This is going to be good with Baizhu as he is a Dendro support, as well as other off-field Dendro supports in the game, but make sure to have at least one Pyro character for the Burning reaction.

These sets will be available on version 4.6 on April 24, 2024. There is currently no information on where we can find the domains for these artifacts, but they may be available in the new area that will be added in the version update.

The introduction of these new artifacts in Version 4.6 is another layer of depth added to this ever-evolving universe. Players should consider how these artifacts can best complement their current characters and perhaps even reshape their usual team setups to exploit the new dynamics these artifacts introduce.
