The Boston Uprising has made yet another major change to their roster in the lead-up to the 2020 Overwatch League season.

Shortly after announcing the departure of six players – including their entire support line – the Uprising shared that they have traded damage player Jeffrey “blasé” Tsang to the Houston Outlaws for cash considerations.

The 20-year-old joined the Uprising in October 2018 after competing for Gladiators Legion in Overwatch Contenders and fulfilled a variety of different roles throughout the 2019 season.

Chris “HuK” Loranger, President of Gaming for The Kraft Group, commented on the departure of blasé, praising his flexibility through the 2019 season.

“We appreciate blase’s flexibility throughout the season,” HuK said.

“He is a very talented player that will continue to grow and progress in ability as time goes on. We wish blasé the best of luck in Houston going forward.”

After officially joining the Houston Outlaws team, blasé released a short statement on Twitter.

“It was a learning experience last year, I wish all current and former players on @BostonUprising the best, love you guys,” blasé wrote. “I’m excited, going to give it my all, and work harder than ever when I play for the @Outlaws for the 2020 season.”
