Palworld: How to Get a Mount Pal to Ride
Ready to add some speed and style to your explorations with a mount Pal?
Mount Pals are not just a mode of transportation; they’re your companions, making your journey through Palworld a whole lot more fun. Let’s dive into how you can get your very own mount Pal.
Getting Your First Rideable Pal
Getting a mount Pal in Palworld is a big move towards enhancing your gameplay. Here’s a step-by-step guide to securing your first rideable companion:
1. Unlock Technology: As you progress in the game, capturing more Pals, your technology tree expands. This unlocks new items, some of which are specific to Pals you’ve caught.
2. Discover Mount-Specific Gear: Many Pals come with unique items for their use, which are initially hidden as question marks in your technology unlocks. These items become visible once you catch the corresponding Pal.
3. Crafting the Saddle: One of the earliest rideable Pals you can access is at level seven – the Melpaca. To craft a saddle for Melpaca, you’ll need leather, wool, and Paldium fragments. Gather these materials first.
4. Use the Pal Gear Workbench: Craft your saddle at the special Pal Gear Workbench, identifiable by its pink tablecloth and intriguing decorations, like a shotgun.
5. Select the Right Recipe: Once at the workbench, choose the appropriate recipe for your Pal. Remember, you only need one of each item, as you can’t have multiple active Pals of the same type.
