Genshin Impact fans divided over calls for new Mondstadt local legend

Genshin Impact fans are split over another player’s suggestion to have a new Mondstadt local legend.

Genshin Impact has been around since September 2020 and has taken the world by storm with its open-world action roleplay. The game was developed by miHoYo and published worldwide by HoYoverse.

Genshin Impact offers new and old players many things, such as the chance to explore the world of Teyvat and its many regions, the new characters and their respective wish banners, and the chance to fight monsters in the overworld.

Players have been exploring the game’s regions and encountered countless enemies along the way, including local legends. These enemies are enhanced versions of their standard variant counterparts. Defeating these enemies would result in an achievement.

A Genshin Impact player suggested that the Mystifying Megachurl from the “Journey Through Hilinigmatic Terrain” event should become a local legend for Mondstadt. They expressed that local legends are fun with unique mechanics, with special mention to Liam and Rocky, who were special local legends.

They shared that enemies like the Mystifying Megachurl should become local legends in the overworld. They wished for this to happen in Mondstadt, believing there was a big gap in region enemies and content.

Another player shared their opinion, stating that Mondstadt is supposed to be a beginner region. They imagined that low adventure rank (AR) players would quit believing they’d have to kill the local legend when they already had a hard time against Ruin Guards.

In a reply, another fan suggested that spawning a local legend in Mondstadt would be locked behind a certain adventure rank level and quest to avoid beginners quitting due to its difficulty.
