Hunter's Arena: Legends starts closed beta sign-ups 1

Hunter’s Arena: Legends announced the dates for the final closed beta test. Mantisco, the Korean studio which developed the battle royale MMORPG hybrid, has opened up signs ups for the CBT, which will take place from April 22, 2020, to April 26, 2020. Hunter’s Arena: Legends will be available on Steam Early Access later this year.

The game puts 60 players together in a battle to become the lone survivor. According to the developers, the game is violent and is for mature audiences only. It features some MMORPG elements such as acquiring equipment, leveling up, boss raids, and puts it within the Battle Royal genre. The game encourages players to take advantage of the MMO features so that they may better succeed.

Those who are new to Hunter’s Arena: Legends can jump in with simplified controls. As players gain experience, they can engage in a more in-depth strategy to attempt to gain the upper-hand on opponents. Players can opt to cooperate with others to hunt down boss monsters or betray their allies to become the only survivor.

This final closed beta test will take place in North America, Europe, and Asia. Mantisco has implemented changes based on player feedback provided during the earlier closed beta test. The latest iteration of Hunter’s Arena: Legends includes tutorials and in-game guides, optimizations for fluid gameplay, and improved game balance. They’ve also added a day/night cycle system, and the studio says the lighting system and quality of the character models have been greatly improved.

The CEO of Mantisco, Yoon Jung-Hyun, said, “We went through a lot of feedback received after the first CBT. We also conducted countless tests to make improvements to the upcoming 2nd CBT, to create a game that can embrace more diverse cultures based on global standards.”
