MW3 players frustrated over "atrocious" spawns in new map 1

The latest addition to “Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3,” the map Meat, has quickly become a source of frustration for players, with many criticizing its spawn system as “atrocious.”

Players are finding themselves repeatedly spawning in disadvantageous positions, significantly impacting gameplay, particularly in objective-based modes.

One player shared their experience, saying, “Playing the new map Meat and the spawns are just atrocious, the map is big enough the spawns should flip properly but they just… don’t.” This sentiment is echoed across the community, with players feeling that the spawn system disrupts the balance of the game and makes it challenging to predict enemy movements.

The issue of spawning is not new to the Call of Duty series, but it seems particularly pronounced in MW3’s Meat map. “It’s a small map issue, doesn’t matter the name of the map. When you can be in the enemy spawn in under 5 seconds, spawns will never be good,” commented another player, pointing out the inherent problem with smaller maps.

Some players have even reported exploiting the flawed system to their advantage. “I got a juggernaut kill streak on HC Meat because the same 2 guys kept spawning in front of me,” shared a player, highlighting how the spawn system can be manipulated for easy kills.

However, not everyone is critical of the map. A few players have expressed their enjoyment, with one saying, “It’s a fantastic map, it must be hard getting spawns perfect on smaller maps, I’m just happy they gave us this.” This shows that while the spawn system is a significant issue for many, it doesn’t detract from the overall enjoyment of the game for some players.

The developers of Modern Warfare 3 have acknowledged the issues with the spawn system and have been working on adjustments to improve it. The community’s feedback has been instrumental in bringing these issues to light, and players are hopeful that future updates will address their concerns.

While the new map Meat adds variety to MW3, its spawn system has left many players feeling frustrated. The community’s call for better spawns is loud and clear, and it remains to be seen how the developers will respond to this feedback.
