AFK Journey is a free-to-play fantasy role-playing game (RPG) developed by FARLIGHT and Lilith Games. The game was initially released on December 2023 but officially released on March 27, 2024.

In the game, various stats are important in dealing damage and how strongly heroes can take damage from enemies. Here are all the Hero Stats in AFK Journey.

Basic Stats in AFK Journey

StatDescription
HPHP (Health) is reduced when receiving damage. A unit is defeated when their HP reaches zero.
ATKATK (Attack) increases damage dealt by the unit.
Phys DEFPhys DEF (Physical Defense) reduces physical damage received by the unit.
Magic DEFMagic DEF (Magic Defense) reduces magic damage received by the unit.

Offensive Stats in AFK Journey

StatDescription
ATK SPDEvery point of ATK SPD (Attack Speed) increases the frequency of the unit’s normal attacks by 1% and the attack animation speed by 1%.
CritWhen dealing damage, the crit rate is calculated based on the difference between the unit’s Crit and the target’s Crit Resist. Every point above the target’s Crit Resist increases the unit’s crit rate by 1%.
HasteEvery point of Haste increases the frequency of the unit’s normal attacks and skills by 1%, and the attack animation speed by 1%.
DEF PenetrationEvery point of DEF Penetration ignores the target’s Phys DEF and Magic DEF by 1% when dealing damage.
ExecutionEvery point of Execution increases the damage dealt by 1% to targets whose HP ratio is below 50%.
Crit DMG BoostWhen dealing critical damage, the critical damage multiplier is calculated based on the difference between the unit’s Crit DMG Boost and the target’s Crit DMG DEF. The critical damage multiplier is by default 150%, and every point of difference reduces or increases the multiplier by 1%, between 120% and 300%.

Defensive Stats

StatDescription
VitalityEvery point of Vitality increases the effectiveness of the unit’s received shields and healing by 1%. This applies to self heals.
Life DrainEvery point of Life Drain restores HP equal to 1% of the actual damage dealt.
Crit ResistWhen receiving damage, the crit rate is calculated based on the difference between the attacker’s Crit and the unit’s Crit Resist. Every point above the unit’s Crit Resist increases the attacker’s crit rate by 1%.
Ranged DEFEvery point of Ranged DEF (Ranged Defense) reduces the damage received from non-adjacent enemies by 1%.

HealingEvery point of Healing increases the effectiveness of the shields and healing provided by the unit by 1%. This applies to self heals.
AssistanceEvery point of Assistance increases the duration of most buffs provided by the unit by 1%.
Energy on HitEvery point of Energy on Hit increases the amount of Energy the unit recovers by 1% when receiving damage.
Debuff FocusEvery point of Debuff Focus increases the duration of most debuffs inflicted by the unit by 1%.
ResilienceEvery point of Resilience reduces the duration of most debuffs inflicted on the unit by 1%.
ProficiencyWhen the character’s Proficiency is lower than the enemy’s level, the effects of some of the character’s skills will be weakened.

Rivalry Stats in AFK Journey

Crit DMG BoostAdditionally increases Crit DMG Boost in the Rivalry Mode.
When dealing critical damage, the critical damage multiplier is calculated based on the difference between the unit’s Crit DMG Boost and the target’s Crit DMG DEF. The critical damage multiplier is by default 150%, and every point of difference reduces or increases the multiplier by 1%, between 120% and 300%.
Crit DMG DEFAdditionally increases Crit DMG DEF in the Rivalry Mode.
When receiving critical damage, the critical damage multiplier is calculated based on the difference between the attacker’s Crit DMG Boost and the unit’s Crit DMG DEF. Energy Regen ReductionAdditionally increases Energy Regen Reduction in the Rivalry Mode.
Every point of Energy Regen Reduction reduces the amount of Energy the target recovers by 1% when receiving damage from the unit.
Energy on HitAdditionally increases Energy on Hit in the Rivalry Mode.
Every point of Energy on Hit increases the amount of Energy the unit recovers by 1% when receiving damage.
Debuff FocusAdditionally increases Debuff Focus in the Rivalry Mode.
Every point of Debuff Focus increases the duration of most debuffs inflicted by the unit by 1%.
ResilienceAdditionally increases Resilience in the Rivalry Mode.
Every point of Resilience reduces the duration of most debuffs inflicted on the unit by 1%.
DMG BoostAdditionally increases DMG Boost in the Rivalry Mode.
When dealing damage, the damage multiplier is calculated based on the difference between the unit’s DMG Boost and the target’s DMG Reduction. The damage multiplier is 100% by default, and every point of difference reduces or increases the multiplier by 1%.
DMG ReductionAdditionally increases DMG Reduction in the Rivalry Mode.
When receiving damage, the damage taken multiplier is calculated based on the difference between the attacker’s DMG Boost and the character’s DMG Reduction. The damage multiplier is 100% by default, and every point of difference reduces or increases the multiplier by 1%.
