GTA Online: How to Drift Cars in the Chop Shop DLC

Grand Theft Auto Online’s Chop Shop DLC has brought an exciting new dimension to the game: drifting.

This guide will teach you how to set up your car for drifting, where to go, and which cars are eligible for this thrilling modification now that GTA Update 1.68 is here.

Drifting in GTA Online isn’t just about showing off your driving skills; it’s a whole new way to experience the game’s dynamic driving mechanics. With the Chop Shop DLC, you can now slide around the corners of Los Santos with style and precision, adding a fresh layer of excitement to your gameplay.

Selecting the Right Vehicle: Not all vehicles in GTA Online are drift-capable. The DLC allows only a select few cars to be modified for drifting. For example, the Karin Asterope GZ and other seemingly suitable cars might not be eligible for drift modifications.

Purchasing a Drift-Compatible Vehicle: One of the confirmed drift-capable cars is the Fathom FR36. Other vehicles include the Drift Tampa, ETR1, Euros, GTX, Jester RR, Remus, and ZR 350.

Installing Drift Tuning: Once you have a compatible vehicle, take it to the LS Car Meet. Here, you can install the drift tuning for 200,000 GTA dollars. Be mindful that removing this modification will cost you 50,000 GTA dollars.

Practice Makes Perfect: Drifting in GTA Online requires practice. Start by getting a feel for your drift-modified car. Experiment with different speeds and angles to understand how your car handles while drifting.

Avoid Obstacles: Be aware of street signs and other obstacles that can disrupt your drift. Find open areas or less crowded streets to practice.
